Enrollment Open for 2022-2023 School Year

 Enrollment for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year is now open for The Good Shepherd Preschool in Fredericksburg.

Operated as an educational ministry of Highway Assembly of God, the preschool offers a strong academic program for children ages 3-5 that integrates Christian character and biblical truths into every area of learning.

New families that enroll their preschooler in a full-day, 5-day-a-week program by May 1 will receive a 5-percent monthly tuition discount for the school year, with a deposit of one month’s tuition.

The full-day preschool program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The Good Shepherd Preschool also offers a half-day preschool from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  Both half-day and full-day programs are available two, three or five days a week.

Additional services offered include before-school care and after-school care.

Early childhood education experts maintain that brain development is highest during the first four years of life. The brain is forming important neural paths to help develop a child’s ability to perform and function and learn well.

“With these facts in mind, our staff at The Good Shepherd Preschool is passionate about early childhood education and is focused on the development of the total child,” says preschool director Gary Wagner.

“Our teachers create a nurturing environment to stimulate learning, permit social interaction, and foster a feeling of security and self-confidence in a play-based atmosphere.”
